Year-Round Programs

    • During the Fall and Spring seasons, Camp Whitsett is available for use by many diverse groups. We offer special programs for YMCAs, Scouting groups, Churches, and a “design your own adventure” option for those interested in developing their own unique program

    • YMCA
      • Camp Whitsett’s facilities are a perfect fit for YMCA Adventure Guides or Indian Princesses weekends. With packages ranging from the basic to all-inclusive there is something for everyone!
    • Scouting Groups
      • Scouting groups have been using Whitsett since the camp was founded in 1947, and we have many that come back year after year to explore all camp has to offer. In addition to an organized Cub Weekend in the fall we offer programs for troops , packs, and crews looking for everything from a backpacking base to a full fledged cub world program.
    • Religious Groups
      • Camp Whitsett’s peaceful mountain setting offers the perfect venue for a religious retreat. With space for worship, diverse activities, and room to accommodate groups of up to 150 in cabins and 300 in tents, it is no wonder Whitsett is the choice for over 5,000 campers every year.
  • Design your own Adventure: You don’t have to be a Scout, YMCA, or religious group to enjoy the many experiences Camp Whitsett has to offer. Our facilities provide opportunities for business conferences, club functions, and even weddings! Whatever your event is, we can most likely accommodate.
