PRE-CAMP LEADER MEETING
Every year the Camp Program changes slightly —and in some years it might change a lot! Staff talents change, kids change, Scouting emphasis changes, and so the program changes, too. Because of that we recommend each unit sending at least one leader to the leaders meeting.
Here are some of the important agenda items:
- Explanation of this year’s daily schedule.
- Explanation of finalized list of merit badges and other advancement opportunities to be offered.
- The all important question-and-answer session. We want to know what you want.
- At the meeting the Leader Packet is distributed. This packet contains all the necessary forms for camp.
Leader Meeting will be held on March 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. They will be held at the Western Los Angeles County Council office, 16525 Sherman Way, Unit C-8, Van Nuys, CA 91406 (between Balboa & Havenhurst).
If for some reason your unit is unable to attend our Leader Meeting we will be video recording the meeting and providing it through our website: www.campwhitsett.org. In addition all handouts and information from the meeting will be posted online as well. If you are unable to make the meeting and have any questions that you want covered please fill out our online question form, and we will make sure those questions are added to the agenda for the meeting.
